Veritas has appointed Ross Ciesla as Senior Private Client Director of its private client business in the UK.
The award-winning Veritas Private Client business, which currently manages £620million of client assets, has consistently beaten all relevant industry benchmarks. Over the three year period to March 2010 its core Equity, Growth and Balanced strategies were ranked top decile by Asset Risk Consultants.
Ross joins Veritas from Newton Investment Management where he has worked since 1998, most recently in the position of Portfolio Manager in their Private Investment Management Department. His expertise lies in global equity and fixed interest stocks across a wide client base of institutional, private unit trust, onshore pensions and private client and trust portfolios. Additionally he holds a Diploma in International Studies from John Hopkins University in the US and a Master of Arts in Economics 2(i) Upper Second Class Honours.
