Veritas has won two awards at the annual Private Asset Managers (PAM) 2010 awards. The PAM Awards are the highest regarded awards in the UK wealth management sector.
By gathering market data on the relative performance of the leading UK private asset management firms, the PAM judges based their selections on a combination of quantitative performance attribution analysis with their experience of live client portfolios held with managers across the market.
Veritas won awards in the following categories:
- Winner Investment Performance – Defensive Portfolios
- Winner Image & Reputation - High Net Worth Clients
The best Defensive Portfolios award recognised Veritas having consistently delivered the best risk-adjusted total annual investment returns for clients on defensive investment mandates over the past three years.
In winning the Image and Reputation with High Net Worth Clients award, Veritas was judged to have made the most positive impression over the past twelve months, communicating the best image and reputation to the UK high net worth investor community.
In 2009 Veritas was awarded Winner Investment Performance – Growth Portfolios.
The Veritas Private Client business, which currently manages approximately £600million, offers four strategies within its Segregated Portfolio – high equity, growth, balanced and fixed income – with asset allocation dependent on investment objectives and risk tolerance. All four strategies have beaten relevant yardsticks over multiple time periods.
The four categories offer clients exposure to stocks and bonds on a global long-only real return mandate on a rolling four to five year time horizon.
